“Above all, this memorial is a gesture of thanks to all who died to defend these freedoms we enjoy today,” Fred Hoppe, sculptor and museum founder.
The Veterans Memorial Museum Sculpture is over 70 feet long, weighing 15 tons, the sculpture is of 50 life-size soldiers storming a beach. Each soldier is modeled after an actual combat veteran from each of the states. Senator Bob Dole is easily recognizable.
The museum also features a sculpture of three U.S. soldiers serving in Vietnam that greet visitors upon entry to the museum.

Child Ages (5 to 12): $5.00
