A look as the BlackBerry Essex
A look as the BlackBerry Essex
Salomondrin

Our favorite BlackBerry secret agent, Salomondrin, recently uploaded a video of the BlackBerry Tour 2, which is currently codenamed the Essex.  The previous video I posted was taken down, so now I have this new one for you to view.  It was uploaded at the end of October and hasn't been taken down yet, so it probably has a little bit more staying power.

If you're not familiar with it just yet, the Essex is basically a Tour with WiFi capability and the new trackpad first seen in the 8520.  It's a CDMA device that will be released on Verizon and most likely Sprint as well.  There hasn't been any sort of official word from RIM yet as to when the phone will become available, but the whispers are saying as late as early February of 2010.  A few sources even seem to think that it will be released by the end of the year in order to take advantage of the holiday season.

Are you on Verizon or Sprint and looking forward to the arrival of the Essex?  Let me know in the comments below!
