Ramsey Qubein is a travel journalist and full-time correspondent for Northstar Travel Media covering the hotel and airline industry from every corner of the globe. He has traveled to 101 countries (many of them more than two dozen times) and lived in both Madrid and Paris. His work has appeared in consumer and industry magazines including Business Traveler, Airways, and Singapore Airlines’ Silver Kris. He serves as the Charlotte Travel Examiner and writes for numerous blogs and web sites in addition to appearing on various broadcast programs. He completed a Master’s Degree thesis researching various aspects of branding in the travel industry and is highly recognized as an expert in travel loyalty programs, business travel and the luxury travel segment. He speaks four languages, and, despite flying more than 300,000 miles per year, finds time to make North Carolina his home base.
