As a server, I have heard of many rumors about which restaurants are staying open through what I'm sure will be a very hard season for the restaurant business. Many, for instance, will be closing temporarily, such as the iconic taverns in Colonial Williamsburg (their website sites that they often close at this point in the year for maintenance). 

However, I have also looked into some of the other rumored closings and found them not to be true.  I also found a very good article covering some local closings, which you can find at the link below.  Hopefully, we will see very few good local restaurants closing in this difficult time.  Have you heard any other rumors that need to be investigated?  Do you know of any closings?
