Happy birthday, Gemini! While your sign has a reputation for unfailing logic and practical analysis, there’s a highly imaginative side to your mind as well. Your June horoscope suggests you’ll be spending a great deal of time there in the fields of fantasy this month, as there’s plenty of planetary action across your solar 12th house of dreams and transformation.

Mercury, ruling planet of Gemini, completes its transit of your Taurus dream-space before crossing into your sun sign mid-month. Meanwhile the lovers Venus and Mars take their time in a slow waltz through the willows and mists, coming to exact conjunction in Taurus June 21. If that pair in your dream-space doesn’t turn on your libido and prompt a few racy fantasies, nothing astrological will.

Geminis have an uncanny knack for figuring out how to bring their dreams out of imagination and into real life. So don’t chide yourself for time spent in la-la-land this month, and do let the wheels begin to turn in terms of what you can do to make your heart’s desire a real possibility. It won’t come without risks, but heaven knows you take those neatly in stride.

There are benefits for all the sun signs in taking goal-oriented action during the first 10 days of June. A Gemini should focus on breaking through restrictions on your mobility, whether literal or figurative. Make plans to further your education, travel to distant places or take on some other activity that will expand your consciousness, which is a major theme for you in 2009.

When the new moon comes, at the first degree of Cancer June 22, you’ll have a chance to prove your worth to an employer or client and increase your earnings, so be prepared to make your case if you can see that kind of opportunity materializing. Summer officially begins when the sun goes into Cancer June 20 at the summer solstice, and you can look forward to a renewal of your energy when Mars enters Gemini in July.
