There’s a real disconnect between day-to-day reality and your deeper preoccupations this month, Cancer. Last month’s creeping dissonance was only the beginning. Your May horoscope says you are working efficiently in the outer world and handling what you need to, but you’d just as soon cancel all that and focus on a deeper mystery.

That disconnect could make you a little jumpy. You’re not really there and then suddenly someone else is really there and it shakes you back out of where you were. You know how that goes! Sometimes it makes you snippy as you defend yourself from those pesky distractions of ordinary life, so watch it or you may find yourself downgraded in that whole area of “plays well with others.”

On the whole though, this month brings you smooth enough transits with one very deep pool made by Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron. At this point in the big intersection of cycles, life itself asks you to renew your commitment to living life fully, with all your heart. No one could blame you if you need to seriously think that one through. Life’s tough and we withdraw, bit by bit, in self protection, in confusion, sometimes in horror.

It’s worth giving the matter some conscious thought and following the links to heartaches that surface when you think this way. Release what you can back to the ocean to be dealt with in the tide. Gather your energy. Life needs you. Things are moving your way and lucky adventures await you in 2010.
