It's time to wish upon a star. As the moon enters Taurus to come together with the sun for the April new moon tonight, make a really good wish – one that is just and healing and enormous. The sun and moon in their New Moon alignment will be supported by a beautiful Jupiter conjunction that can set the tone for the year ahead and who knows how long after.
Jupiter is finally arm-in-arm with Neptune, bringing the expansion principle together with imagination. Joining those two in late Aquarius, sextile the new moon in early Taurus, is Chiron, the wounded healer. What a great time for us to dare to engage in big healing dreams for ourselves and our planet.
"Let's visualize all the people living life in peace. 10 seconds. 1 hour. All day. Anywhere and anytime of the day. Together, is the key."
That is Yoko Ono's message that went out on Twitter this morning. That's the energy to move with as we head into the weekend. Even if your wishes feel more personal and individual than that, if you can wish them in the name of what is good, benefic Jupiter and the other planetary conditions will support them coming to be.
This New Moon conjunction of sun and moon can be seen as a merging of masculine and feminine energies. That influence, which makes both the yin and yang of our personalities more available to us, is echoed by the current conjunction as well of Venus and Mars. The Venus and Mars conjunction is in Aries, the sign ruled by masculine Mars, while the sun and moon are joining in Taurus, ruled by feminine Venus.
I spent some time today at ImaginePeace.com. This active website helps to keep John Lennon and Yoko Ono's peace campaign, which was begun in the 1960s, dancing in the light of people's shared awareness in the new millennium. This new moon is an ideal time to plant a wish tree, as conceptual artist Yoko invites us to do, or to choose an already-growing tree to be a wish tree and send the wishes collected there to the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland.
The tower of light, lit at the winter solstice, spring equinox and other special days, is a tribute by Yoko to John and a focal point for wishes of world peace. Please see the details on the Wish page of the News section at ImaginePeace.com. May we all be blessed, together.
