Be clear about what you want, Capricorn, especially this year and especially this month, because whatever you’re aiming your lasso at is what you’re likely to find on the other end of your rope. Forgive the ranch-hand metaphor if you’re not inclined to think of yourself as much of a cowboy or cowgirl, but it illustrates the symbolism at play here. Your February horoscope is focused on what you can acquire or place yourself into a position to acquire.

You can definitely make some headway financially, but think carefully about your priorities. If you lasso a new car, have you also just roped yourself into a new unnecessary debt? Would it be better to pay off existing debts and acquire some financial breathing room and peace of mind? Maybe the benefits of reliable transportation will win out. Just be sure to be clear.

If your priority is for non-material acquisitions, your aim will be just as true in whatever area your values lead. Whether you’re considering marriage, working toward establishing credentials in some area, building a foundation for some new and perhaps environmentally responsible enterprise, or trying to organize people around a new idea or common need, you’re likely to make good progress.

The planetary action this month is centered in neighboring Aquarius, highlighting your resources and resourcefulness and placing quite a bit within your reach. If you begin the month keenly aware of a lack of material resources, don’t feel bad about yourself for that. No matter what your current situation is, remember that what you are is more important than what you have. Then direct your efforts with confidence, knowing that right now the universe is in your corner.
