After a stimulating January when a lot of your focus was outer-directed, February gives you a chance to go within and internalize your experiences, Cancer. But I wouldn’t exactly call this a resting period either. You’re likely to be probing your own personality and family history, trying to settle some psychological issues that keep pulling you back so that you can mark those mysteries “solved” and move on.

On the other hand, the mystery occupying your mind could be a matter of money and how best to manage it. You could come into some unexpected money or you may need to dig more deeply into financial matters than you’re accustomed to and figure out how best to invest in this economy or budget for your situation. You may have property, retirement savings, lump sums or even an inheritance you need to find the best place for, or maybe you’re especially concerned about your tax situation this year. In any case, your horoscope says you’ll find the right answers and have good chances for improving your financial situation, but you’ll need to do some digging to determine your best bets.

Emotionally, though, it won’t be an easy month for you, as you’re likely to feel a bit unappreciated or maybe even used. While an array of planets and lights transits Aquarius this month, they’ll be relating to your sun through uncomfortable quincunx angles, also known as inconjunct aspects. But even if you feel like you and the choir are singing in different keys, a lot of people will be sociable this month, so take advantage of some opportunities to engage with others you trust and get their ideas on the matters of human nature or finance that you’re working to solve.

Early in the morning Feb. 9, the sun in Aquarius shines under just the right conditions to cause the Earth’s shadow to fall on the face of the full moon in Leo. This penumbral lunar eclipse, or the days surrounding it, could well be the catalyst for those financial changes you’ll need to make or for a shift in your personal values that moves you toward a new phase of life.

You are getting a good sense of your own power and limits in relationships, but this month is more of a practical period for sorting things through than a particularly romantic time.
