Your Venus sign is Taurus. Your approach to love is sensual and steadfast, with an emphasis on stability. You want a teammate in life. You value loyalty, direct communication and playfulness in love relationships and expect your partner to do the same. You aren’t afraid of the hard work involved with working through issues. But keep in mind that you’ll need someone who won’t wander off, hide from your enthusiasm or get angry when you need to hash things through.

Find your Venus sign: your approach to love

Compatible earth signs: Taurus is an earth sign. Of the three earth signs, Capricorn is the cardinal one, eager to begin and see where things go. Taurus is the fixed earth sign, concerned about maintaining for the long term, and Virgo is the mutable earth sign, concerned with how it will all end up.

With your natal Venus in Taurus, your ways of expressing love (and dealing with money) are similar to those of people with Venus in any earth sign and your relationships with them will have that essential harmony at their core. However, two people with the same Venus sign need to watch that they don’t go overboard together with the more negative aspects of the sign – like an overemphasis on the material and physical for Taurus.

Opportune and inopportune water signs: You have opportunities for compatibility with Venus in Cancer and Pisces, but you are likely to clash with Venus in Scorpio over uses for money and ways to express affection. If your Venus and your sweetie’s Venus are in opposite signs, like Taurus and Scorpio, you’ll need to compromise or take turns with your preferences. 

When it comes to the fire and air signs, you will tend to be at odds with the approaches of Venus in Leo and Aquarius. You will be drawn to the ways of Venus in Sagittarius and Libra but will at times be uncomfortable with those ways. With Aries and Gemini Venus placements, the relationships tend to skew unevenly. You would tend to take the lead over Venus in Aries, while Venus in Gemini would want the lead over you.
