Happy New Year, Capricorn! 

This should be an empowering year for you, marked by deep realizations, financial security and a sense of understanding – ahead of others – how to get where our changing society needs to go. On the other side of the coin lies the potential for an occasionally overpowering year emotionally, in which sudden eruptions of anger or fear give way to unexplained feelings of emptiness.

There will be days when you won’t know where you stand and other days when you’ll be inflamed with the power of your viewpoint. With fortunate Jupiter leaving your sign and intense Pluto entering Capricorn, you’ll be going from the sublime to the “Holy mackerel!” That is especially so for December-born Capricorns with suns near the point Pluto is occupying. Not to be too dramatic, but only a minority of people get to experience in a lifetime the internal revolution and rebirth facilitated by Pluto aligning with one’s natal sun. The dwarf planet has a slow and erratic orbit.

Couple that with the fact that your ruling planet, Saturn, is in opposition to Uranus, an alignment that is a sign of cultural change on Earth. You could say that Capricorns will be the first to experience the internal transformation that will accompany this generational change. Or they will be the first to reject it. In times of internal conflict, try not to be drawn into black and white thinking, especially about yourself. Express yourself as the multifaceted individual you are.

Materially, things look good for you, with opportunities for earnings growth and signs of reaching financial goals. If you’re interested in increasing the size of your family, June looks particularly favorable for that sort of partnership and creativity.
