Happy New Year, Aries!

This should be a powerful year for you where you’ll begin to reap the rewards for hard work you’ve put into building your career and public life over the last couple of years. Aries starts into 2009 focused on career and community and spirituality. If your career isn’t coming together well for you right now, and in fact you want to climb the walls at work, this is the year to work within your career cycle and either press for changes or find someplace you can breathe.

You have a sense of power behind you as you move toward your goals. For March-born Aries, there might be an uncomfortable sense of the engine running you. For April Aries, it’s an easier flow of energy. Lucky opportunities will pop up for you throughout the year, and the part of you that delights in the new will enjoy the spirit of change emphasized this year.

Around your birthday, while having fun with friends, your focus will shift more towards your personal life and the gauzier side of your personal dreams. Don’t be afraid to talk them over with your friends. You may find mutually linking dreams that strengthen your ties in the community.

August brings dramatic news or an eye-opening realization that presents excellent opportunities for some Aries and unnervingly shaky ground for others. In the fall, expect to take a serious new look at love relationships and partnerships of all kinds, an evaluation that will last many months.
