Have you been hearing the buzz about locally raised meat?  Frustrated that there are so few farms in the Boston area that sell humanely raised chicken, beef, lamb, pork, and other meats?  You don't have to be anymore!  Stillman's Farm has announced that they have space left for additional members to join their meat share starting this January.

What can you expect from a Stillman Farm meat share?  Here it is, straight from the horse's mouth:

"Our farm offers conscientiously raised, grass-fed and pastured, hormone-free meats and poultry. We believe in raising our animals in a manner that is humane and respectful, a respect that extends not only to our animals but to our land as well. Our sustainable, more holistic approach to animal husbandry yields better tasting, safer, and more nutritious meats and poultry."

Monthly shares may include a variety of cuts of beef, lamb, and pork, as well as whole chickens.  Prices range from $7.25 to $9.16 per pound, depending on how much meat you buy and whether you sign up for six months or a full year.  (Share range from 5 to 20 pounds per month.) You can schedule your share to be picked up in Brookline, Cambridge, Jamaica Plain, Quincy, or at the farm in Lunenberg.

Sign up for your meat share here today, before space runs out!
