Team Quest co-founder and MMA veteran, Matt Lindland has signed a new contract to fight for Strikeforce's promotion. The three fight deal will most likely have the former Olympic greco-roman silver medalist debuting in October. Lindland will look to get back on the winning track after losing via KO to Vitor Belfort at Affliction's Day of Reckoning back in January.
The 11 year MMA veteran holds wins over a who's who list of fighters including Jeremy Horn, Ricardo Almeida, Phil Baroni, and Travis Lutter, among others. Despite his recent loss, Matt Lindland is still widely regarded as a top ten middleweight, and could quickly work his way up the 185 lb. ladder.
