Earlier this week Co Co. Sala hosted a networking event for members of the Washington Event Professionals (WEP) Meetup. The group is a network of 400 professionals working in a variety of areas within the field of special events. Members include a number of local event planners, students, vendors, venue representatives, entertainers, business owners, sales and marketing professionals, and other event services providers from large and small organizations throughout the DC metro area. Tuesday night’s event was just one of many opportunities for members to meet others in the field while exploring potential venues.

Co Co. Sala served up a sampling of tasty appetizers, discounted drinks, and a special tour. In addition to the restaurant’s dinning room, bars, and lounge space, Co Co. Sala has access to an adjacent art gallery and rooftop deck for special events. In the various spaces, Co Co. Sala is capable of hosting groups of up to 300. If you’re a professional in the field of special events looking for an opportunity to connect with other motivated professionals in a relaxed, social atmosphere, go HERE for more information on the Washington Event Professionals Meetup. Along with the assistant organizer Tiffany Noris, I work to keep the calendar stocked with private member only events as well as those open to the public including; networking events, professional development conferences, educational workshops, tastings, festivals, bridal shows, and much more!
