As you expected, your family is the first team to arrive at Phuket. Congratulations! No time to hit the beach yet, however. You must first make your way to an elephant farm. Too bad you don’t speak Thai. However, as you cleverly take out your pad of paper and draw an elephant for the shuttle driver, he laughs so loud that it draws a large crowd, some of whom happen to speak English. In a flash, you are on your way.
In this next challenge, one parent will undergo a brief “elephant driving” course. After mastering the more important details, he must “drive the elephant” through a short jungle loop, while the rest of the family (that’s you and the baby) ride on the back like ancient Thai royalty.
This might be complicated, and nerve-wracking enough as it is. But as you strap on your baby and cheer on your partner you realize you and the baby are getting swarmed by mosquitoes. This is not good.
Fortunately, you’ve had the foresight to bring along a power-packing, DEET-free insect repellent that’s safe enough for the baby to wear, and strong enough to protect all of you. Better still, the Bite Blocker lotion formula allows you to apply it to your baby without any nasty spray irritating his eyes or lungs.
Now, if only they made car seats for elephants.
