If you’ve ever tried to find a reasonably priced hotel room for a family of five in Europe, chances are you can appreciate two things: 1. The feeling one gets from hitting her head against a brick wall repeatedly, 2. The new website dedicated to helping you find such places—painlessly.

Sleeps5.com was created by two sisters, each with a family of 5 (go figure), to help other parents facing the same challenges that they did when planning travel overseas. Namely to sleep five family members together—not in separate rooms down the hall from each other. The website offers listings of hotels across Europe where you’ll find accommodations that do just that, including destinations in Austria, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

Sure, you will hear the advice over and again that your family will be best off renting an apartment or a house for a week or more when visiting the Old Country. This sounds great, and definitely can be. However, you may not have an entire week to spend in one location, or want to spend the extra money for the extra facilities a villa affords. You may also simply need a place to overnight upon arrival, or before your flight home.

Sleeps5.com also features hotels in New York City; Washington, D.C.; Vancouver; Victoria; and as a wildcard: San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. If you have three kids in your family or sometimes travel with grandparents, be sure to bookmark Sleeps5.com to help with your future vacation planning.
