Find out more about Jason: Jason's culinary background started with his interest in Julia Child and cooking in his mother's kitchen at home. After searching for his calling, he realized that all along it was culinary arts and soon enrolled into The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. After school he moved back home and worked for a couple companies before he discovered food writing. Jason's favorite kinds of places to eat range from fine dining to finding a "whole in the wall, mom and pop's" place. He always says, "If it smells good and looks good, then it must taste good."Influences include: Julia Child, Anthony Bourdain, Thomas Keller, Auguste Escoffier and all of his chefs/instructors at the CIA. |
