Fun news via the @suicidegirls Twitter account yesterday: The official SuicideGirls Flip Strip iPhone application is the 4th most popular free iPhone App at the iTunes store.
Although Apple has been careful about allowing adult-themed apps into the mix, the SuicideGirls app passes muster: It's titilating without actually being titilating, if you know what I mean.
The app is billed as a 21st century twist on that old water-filled novelty ballpoint pen your crazy uncle used to have, the one where the pinup girl's clothes fell off when you turned the pen upside down.
Flip Strip features fully dressed SuicideGirls models – Lumi, Zoli, Sash, Antigone, Coley, Dot, Inga, Moxi, Radeo, and Rigel so far, if you're an SG fan and you're keeping score – who strip down to their undies when you flip your phone.
From the iTunes store description:
SuicideGirls is a community that celebrates alternative beauty and alternative culture from all over the worl. Now you can ineract with them right in your pocket.
Even though this app is PG-13, the website SuicideGirls.com is intended for adult audiences and should only be viewed by people over the age of 18.
