GlutenFreeTravelsite.com is holding it's annual contest to find the World's Most Celiac-Friendly Destination. The location with the most reviews on the site gets the distinction of being the most gluten free friendly location. This would be fantastic for Kansas City!
Those of us who live in Kansas City know how many places are making amazing strides in providing gluten free options for their customers. From grocery stores, to restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries, Kansas City has a lot to offer. It's time we let the world know!
Last year, the honor went to New York. An understandable winner due to the high population and the popularity of foodies and trends that come out of New York. This year, Kansas City should wear the badge.
It seems like the common mindset is to list places outside your home city. People often take a look at the places they have traveled for inspiration. We should change that mindset. Post reviews for the local places you visit every day and let other people in the world know that there is plenty here for them to come and enjoy.
Taking a few minutes to post a review is a very worthwhile thing.
