If you're looking for something fun and different to do with your kids, check out Rice's Market.
The market has been open since 1860 and is located in Solebury Township in Bucks County. Their Web site states they are Bucks County's oldest and largest market.
While some of the vendors are there year-round, some also rotate, so no two trips are guaranteed to be the same.
Oftentimes, various in-season produce, plants and flowers as well as many crafts and items like handbags, clothes and sunglasses are available throughout the market. Many children's books and toys are also available as well as antiques. Many items such as the books are offered at a fraction of the price. Don't forget to bargain, especially if you are buying more than one item from a vendor. That's part of the fun of the flea markets.
Families can just go and browse or find many unique items for gifts or for themselves. It is perfect for shopping when the weather is beautiful outside.
Parking is $2 per car and customers can pull up right next to the market.
The country flea market is open Tuesdays 7 AM to 1 PM throughout the year. They are also opened Saturdays 7 AM to 1 PM from March through December as well as special holidays.
