
A woman who was kidnapped near the border was found in a closet in Tijuana on Saturday.
Assistant state prosecutor Fermin Gomez said that the 21-year-old woman, whose name was not released, was found bound and beaten. She was taken from her car on Wednesday and held captive. The suspect threatened to kill her unless they received a ransom of $200,000.
A suspect was held and questioned by authorities which lead to the location of the woman. Two suspects, Mario Vargas, 23, and Bruno Diaz Andrade, 21, were arrested in Tijuana and a third suspect was arrested in the U.S..
