A burglary victim called the Vista Sheriff's Dept. and reported that they found property being sold on Craigslist.com that looked just like the property that was stolen from their home in September.

Detectives set up a sting operation and contacted Michael Parris, 29, of Oceanside, the individual who had posted the Craigslist ad, and offered to purchase the speakers that he had for sale.

The police met Parris at the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in Vista and he was subsequently arrested when the police were satisfied that the property did belong to the burglary victim.

Another suspect,  Bart Barvarella, 26, was also arrested in connection with this crime and charged with conspiracy, burglary and possession of stolen property
