You've heard that line countless times before. But the reason why you're always hearing it is because it's true. Especially in college, when the bubble you are in seems to decrease in size by the minute, it seems like you can't get away from your guy once you break up. Sometimes, you might even feel it's easier to stick with him than have to face the awkwardness of bumping into him at every turn.
But this potential awkwardness should not keep you from making your decision. If you know that things are not working out, don't just stick with him because it's easier. In the long run, you're giving yourself a lot more grief than you deserve.
Remember, the anxiety you have over bumping into him will surely pass, but sticking around in a relationship you no longer want will give you more than just anxiety.
