PJs, pillow cases and other sleepy-time goods from Evergreen-based Wicking J. Sleepwear can allow anyone with night sweats to snooze comfortably all night long. The fabric looks and feels like cotton, but is actually moisture-wicking polyester, and the products created from it by company president Kendra Novick have been featured on The View, in the New York Times and in Good Housekeeping.
They're usually available at only a few specialty retailers or on-line at prices ranging from $25 for pillowcases to $90 the top-of-the-line button-down pajamas.
Folks who live in the metro Denver area, however, get a break. Novick has rented an Evergreen storefront at 1193 Bergen Parkway (formerly Monkey Doodles), and is having an overstock sale 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, and Saturday, Feb. 28; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 1. Everything will be discounted by 40 percent to 50 percent of retail.
