Are you an artist interested in making money with your art? Interested in making a very good profit?

The "Now What?" Artist Marketing Workshop, Sat., Jan. 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Defoor Center off Howell Mill Road, promises to give artists the tools and resources they need to profitably sell art online.

Successful Atlanta artist Karina Keri-Matuszak, Jill Kettles, an artist agent and Leisa Rich, a Canadian artist living in Atlanta will be speakers at the event. The three women will share the secrets of their individual successes.

The program topics are Developing an Artist Brand and Identity, The Business of Art and Art Marketing.

You will learn about media, PR, pitching a gallery, pricing your work, producing portfolio materials, making a plan and more.

Sponsored by the Defoor Centre, Blue Frog Gallery and Scribbles Studios, the event will be held at the Defoor Centre, 1710 Defoor Avenue. Cost is $69 before Jan. 16 and includes lunch. After Jan. 16, the price goes up to $99 (still includes lunch).
