Feeling defeated? Victory is YOURS today but sometimes it just takes a little encouragement from the word of God to get through the humps and bumps of this thing we called life. Here are a few practical yet biblically supported tips toward claiming your victory but it all starts and begins with God our loving Father by way of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
1.Remember that God is bigger than your problem, greater than your adversity and more powerful than the devil. Sometimes we complicate things with our own thoughts, opinions and even religion but you can’t over analyze or under estimate the power of God. He is. Period.
Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:
2.Remember that God does not lie. What He says about you through His word is true. Even when it doesn’t look good or feel good, God’s word says that we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37) and that all things work together for those who love Him (Romans 8:28.) What He says about your situation is real despite what you see before you at this very moment. When He says that He’ll never leave you nor forsake you, He is telling the truth. You do not have to take God’s word second-hand. In fact God desires that each of His children call unto Him, seek Him, talk to Him and get to know Him on an individual, one to one basis. You can’t walk with God vicariously through someone else.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
3.Claim your victory by speaking life and not death into your situation. Affirm, proclaim, sing, shout, praise and speak positive light into a dark situation.
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
