The poolside Skybar becomes a dance floor at night.

Overlooking the beautiful Sunset strip, the Skybar at Mondrian Hotel is one of the hottest hangouts in Hollywood. Sporting two bars, a groovy dance floor, and several elegant lounge areas for bottle service, the Skybar is anything but your typical club. Resident DJs seamlessly mix your favorite popular songs while various celebrities often grace the dance floor of this classy nightclub attached to the Mondrian Hotel, and getting in is thus nothing short of a challenge. Reservations must be made far in advance if you plan on attending, and even then it takes a degree of finesse and fashionable demeanor to properly execute. It can get a bit crowded as well, and if the fire department doesn’t shut the place down before peak hours you’ll find yourself pushing past people all night. No one expects drinks to be cheap when they go out but the prices here are on the whacky side of absurd, with well drinks $20 a pop and most bottles run $400. If anything, it’s things like this that only add to the stylish atmosphere Skybar provides. Boasting what if probably the best view in LA, the Skybar is definitely something worth checking out given the opportunity.
