Fashionistas beware

LA Fashion Week Exclusive
Divas take to the runways and fashionistas flood the streets this week in downtown LA. That’s right, it’s fashion week once again and this Thursday October 15th is your chance to get your style on.

The Rebecca Moleyam Gallery is hosting a runway fashion show featuring Kami Shade and Supastar clothing at 306 N. Robertson Blvd in West Hollywood. Seen on hot and hip celebrities such as Rhianna, Sharon Stone, and The Pussycat Dolls to name a few, Kami Shade’s Collection premiers its bold look at next season’s trends. Supastar clothing, by Rachel Broussard, pushes the envelope of fashion with stylish one of a kind looks featured in Apparel News magazine. Red carpet arrival start at 7 PM and the show starts at 8. Tickets are available at the door for $30 include complimentary cocktails and VIP gift bags. Don’t forget about the following fashion industry after party!

The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA is also holding a runway show the same day! This fabulous event at 152 N Central Ave in LA will be honoring movie actress Maria Bello who will receive the LA Spirit for Style and Substance award for her intensive work and support of LA fashion designers. The event benefiting the Museum of Contemporary Art features designers such as Elizabeth Mason, The Paper Bag Princess, Vintage Valentino and more. Registration for the celebrity packed event starts at 7 PM with cocktails at 8 and the runway kicks off at 9 with an after party soon to follow.
