And the winner is, with nearly half of all residents obese......Huntington, West Virginia. Congratulations Huntington! You prize for this illustrious award is to lead the nation in diabetes, heart disease, and tooth loss. Although if teeth continue to be lost, it may be hard to keep this title without be able to chew all those calories.
The CDC recently named this the unhealthiest town in the United States out of 150 metropolitan areas. Unfortunately, the poverty level, which close to 19 percent, is a contributing factor. Regardless of income, nearly a third say don't exercise.
