Mark your July calendar now for a lovely new art experience at the Hirshhorn! On Thursday, July 9, at 7 p.m., Blake Gopnik, chief art critic at The Washington Post, and Kristen Hileman, Hirshhorn associate curator of contemporary art, will discuss this year's Venice Biennale.

A Hirshhorn press release elaborates: "Founded in 1893, the Biennale celebrates cutting-edge trends and art movements in an international context."

Gopnik and Hileman will discuss their impressions of the exhibition and their different ways of seeing art. There will also be a question and answer period afterwards.

So, head to the Hirshhorn on July 9 for a great art conversation!
