Philly’s Gay Pride Parade and Festival will be held Sunday, June 14th. The infamous parade will kick off at noon at 13th and Locust. The route will wind its way to the Penn’s Landing Gay Pride Festival. The party is scheduled from 12pm-6pm but anyone who’s ever been there before knows this party lasts well into the night.

This year will also mark the 2nd Annual Front Runners 1mile run/walk on the parade route. The race will kick off the parade.

Pride organizers are billing this as the single largest networking day for Philly’s gay community! Come and take advantage of the more than 120 community groups and vendors that will be present at the festival.

If that’s not reason enough, this year’s headliner is Alec Mapa. You’ve seen him on Desperate Housewives, Ugly Better and Don’t Mess with the Zohan. Now you can see him up close and very personal.
Y
Be sure to mark your calendars and request your vacation and sick days for the following Monday! This year is expected to be one of the best we’ve seen!
