Find out more about Jo: Jo was a Social Worker and Personal Trainer. She lives on the ocean where she nurtures her soul by writing and her body by working out. Writing as the New England Fitness Examiner is a perfect fit. |
We see stories like this on the talk shows but I have to give Chantel Hobbs credit because she is asking people who have been yo yo dieting to stop and read what she has to say.
Hobbs has a book out called The Never Say Diet Personal Trainer. Last year she wrote the Never Say Diet: Make Five Decisions and Break the Fat Habit for Good book. She lost 200 pounds in 17 months and agrees with me that diets don't work. As I've said if they did then there would be one diet book on the shelves. Although some don't agree with me that it is a simple math problem - if you eat more calories than you expend you'll gain weight - and tell me that there is some truth in food combining or times of the day you eat, I still stick with calories as long as they are healthy ones. Chantel Hobbs is a certified spinning instructor, fitness trainer and mother of 4. In her new book she talks about the workouts that have helped her.
