Fitness
A couple of summers ago we decided to buy some items and take them on the road. None of these is large so we can keep them in a crate. We have a Yoga mat so we can do Yoga. We have guided medidation tapes to help us relax at the end of our Yoga practice.

We have dumbbells. Obviously these can't be packed in a suitcase but the item next does. I have resistance bands that take up almost no room and I can do a full body workout with them. My husband has a set of bands that are all on two pieces of plastic on each end. Using all three gives him more resistance than heavy dumbbells and weighs a couple of ounces! He can take a band off to make it lighter depending on how he is working out that day.

Healthy eating
The next challenge is our diet. We have a rice cooker with us so we can cook quinoa and millet. We have a small George Foreman grill so we can cook some healthy salmon or turkey bugers. We make sure we have lots of nuts and fruit/veggies in our refrigerator. I buy nuts in the shell to keep my husband awake after hours of driving. Another great item though perhaps not totally 100% "healthy" are the 100 calorie packs. It's easy to eat an entire back of popcorn so we just grab two 100 calorie bags.
Activities
This is a great chance to be active. If you are in a hotel make use of the gym. If you are on the road in addition to your fitness tools go biking, hiking, kayaking, or for a walk in the park.
