Super Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, is always busy and will be busy for a long time. Bruckheimer has many intellectual properties in development and in production, completed properties from television shows to feature movies and Animation properties. He has several sustaining shows like “The Amazing Race” the CSI Trilogy (CSI-Vegas, CSI-New York and CSI-New York). The other Bruckheimer shows that can be seen are “Cold Case” on CBS & TNT Cable television, “Without A Trace” ended a seven year run on CBS and Dark Blue can be viewed on TNT. The award winning “The Amazing Race” continues its winning ways on CBS Sunday nights and “The Forgotten” may be back for some more episodes in the near future. The show “Dark Blue” starring Dylan McDermott is another cop drama. The show creators are Danny Cannon and Doug Jung. Danny Cannon has also produced on other Bruckheimer shows such as Crime Scene Investigation, CSI Miami, CSI New York, The Forgotten, Dark Blue and The Eleventh Hour.
Jerry Bruckheimer has just completed the “Prince of Persia” (The Sands of Time) feature film starring Jake Gyllenhaal & Gemma Arterton. This movie is derived from a video game. The Prince and rival Princess team up to prevent an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world. There is talk of a sequel and Jake Gyllenhaal is prepared for it to happen. Bruckheimer is also in Post Production with “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” scheduled for release in 2010. The film stars Nicholas Cage. Last but certainly not least is “Pirates of The Caribbean” is announced for 2011. The film stars Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow the quirky but devious pirate always on a mission for treasure of some sorts. Pirates is the new feature film phenomena in today’s movie industry. Bruckheimer continues to keep his finger on the pulse of what the public wants.
