Larkspur Hotels is giving away eight vacations to destinations in California and Oregon – tropical destinations compared to Boston and New England at this time of year. You know you need a break, why not see of you can win one? Simply tell Larkspur Hotels why you deserve this break, and you might win a trip to one of their boutique hotels. While they’re not B&Bs, they are fabulously decorated properties that rival the luxury B&Bs on the west coast.  The "I Need A Vacation Because...." contest only runs through November 17th, so enter soon to better your chances of winning a great getaway to one of eight boutique hotels, including help with airfare on Southwest Airlines.

Just visit Larkspur’s Facebook page, become a “fan,” and, in 50 words or less, describe why you need a vacation. On November 17, 2009, the company will select eight winners who they deem to have the best reasons for needing a vacation, and will award one getaway to each of the eight Larkspur Collection hotels.

“I Need A Vacation Because…!” winners will receive: 

•      A two night stay with deluxe accommodations at a Larkspur Collection hotel (one winner selected per hotel)

•      $150 Southwest Airlines gift card

•      Dinner for two at the corresponding hotel’s restaurant

•      Bottle of sparkling wine in guest room
