Are you looking for harmony, balance and good health as well as a great vacation value? If so, The Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach has just the remedy for you.

Located in Kerala, India, the birthplace of Ayurveda, this luxurious beachfront resort is offering an incredible deal. The Leela Kempinski Kovalam’s five-night Summer Wellness Ayurvedic Package starts as low as $1,245 (60,000 rupees) per person. The package includes all meals, yoga classes, and daily Ayurvedic therapy—all under a doctor’s supervision.  That works out to only $249 per person, per night—and the lavish pampering is free of charge.

As Kerala’s largest five-star resort on its longest stretch of pristine beach, The Leela Palace Kempinski Kovalam Beach has won accolades. Situated on a cliff and flanked by two sweeping beaches, the 182-room, 44-acre property has three restaurants, two lounges, and a pool.

The Leela’s 8,000-square-foot Divya Ayurveda Wellness Spa comprises eight treatment rooms with state-of-the-art facilities including an authentic Ayurvedic area and a yoga studio. This summer, Divya is offering four Ayurvedic therapies:

  • Langanam. Losing weight is not about starving yourself. This body-slimming program balances your body and mind through various Ayurvedic massages and herbal medicine.
  • Brimhana Chikitsa. The aging process can be tough on the body. This rejuvenation and relaxation therapy reinvigorates with herbal oils and medicines to improve memory, complexion and physical endurance.
  • Karkitaka Chikitsa. During the monsoon season, the body’s natural strength weakens. These purifying and cleansing treatments help increase the body’s immunity and restore vitality.
  •  Aadhana-kala Chikitsa. Summer’s heat tends to deplete the body’s energy. This program replenishes its vigor with cooling and refreshing nourishments.

Available now through September 30, the Summer Ayurveda Wellness Packages start at $1,245 (60,000 rupees) single and $1,950 (94,000 rupees) for two persons for a five-day stay in a Garden View Pavilion Room and include:

  •  A daily 60-minute Ayurvedic therapy session
  • Daily yoga classes (8-9 AM and 5-6 PM)
  • Daily doctor’s consultation
  • All Ayurvedic medicines required
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner as prescribed by the doctor or option to dine at the buffet at The Terrace restaurant
  • Fruit basket on the day of arrival
  • Round-trip airport transfers
  • All taxes

For those wishing to stay seven days or longer, The Leela’s spa offers the Kaya-Sudheekarana Chikitsa package, a body-detoxification program that combines different Ayurvedic treatments with the added benefit of a special medically supervised diet. The package starts at $1,720 (82,500 rupees) for single occupancy and $2,680 (128,500 rupees) for double occupancy.
