| In spite of a difficult to understand lack of coverage by the Denver press, the World Rugby Championship, the Churchill Cup, will be played at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Father's Day. In honor of Father's Day, all fathers will be admitted free with the purchase of two children's tickets. Kid's tickets are $25 each and the first 100 will get a mini Rugby stress ball and a family photograph with the Churchill Cup. The day will feature three matches based on the final standings of the six teams in two brackiets in the tournament. The first match at 12:05 p.m. will feature the second place teams in teams in each bracket, Argentina versus Canada. The world championship will be played at 2:30 p.m. In what sounds like a great grudge match, this will feature the first place teams from each bracket, the Saxons of Great Britain versus the Ireland A team. USA fans will have to wait until 4:30 p.m. to see the last place teams in the two brackets, the USA and the Republic of Georgia (once a part of the Soviet Union). http://www.churchillcuprugby.net |
