An awful economy, mass layoffs as a daily occurrence, record unemployment numbers.

If you've got a job, that's one thing to be very thankful for this Thanksgiving.

But if you're out of work, or just frustrated in your career and wanting something else, this is a good time to take control of things. November is National Career Development Month, and the National Career Development Association is a good place to start when you're ready to learn more about taking charge of your employment.
