Blink to tour with Weezer?

How does this sound for a summer tour; Blink-182 celebrating their reunion tour with opening act... Weezer! Well while it hasn't been confirmed as of yet, there are rumblings going around the musical hot stove that this will in face take place and be announced at some point in the coming weeks or month.

Oh what an entertaining show that would be, Weezer who have seen their main stage popularity hold for quite some time willing to come out and help celebrate Blink's return from a long uncomfortable hiatus. This rumor is easy to believe in as the boys from Weezer have already previously opened for a member of Blink. Rivers' and the guys toured with Tom Delonge's space-rock outfit Angels and Airwaves in the fall of 2008, so obviously there are friendships and mutual admiration between both camps.

While dates will be popping out shortly with or without the conformation from Weezer, if this does in fact happen it will be a great chance for fans new or old of both blink-182 and Weezer to get a chance to see two good if not great rock bands that had and still may have huge staying power to this day. I for one will stay tuned in to see if and when this great rumor comes to light and I urge you music fans out there to do the same.
