We have officially kicked off Super bowl week, and just like every other year this year will produce some great music from some great acts.
Starting this Thursday will be the Pepsi Smash which will be airing live on VH1 at 9:00 p.m ET. This show will offer fans a chance to see headlining acts like Fall Out Boy and Rihanna. The two global acts will be joined byLifehouse and also DJ Ire will be keeping the beat for the concert the whole night. Also for any fans of Enrique Iglesias or for any people of Hispanic descent will be able to catch Pepsi Musica which will commence the following day on Friday and will be taped and aired on Saturday. The Hosts of Pepsi Musica will be Leti Coo, Jessi Losada, and Karim Mendiburu. Actor Jerry O'Connell will be hosting the American portion of the concert which should be a great introduction for the music that will be coming on Sunday during half time of the Super Bowl.
The legendary Bruce Springsteen and his infamous E Street Band will be playing the annual game's midway point and it should certainly be a can't miss performance for everyone who is a fan of music. In a new age of football, It is a perfect fit to throw in old school rocker Springsteen and his highly underrated band with whom he has made plenty of great records with. Even if you are not a fan of the annual sporting event of the year, one thing that is for sure is if you enjoy music you must check out the above listed events taking place this week!
