Whoever thought a colored pattern of zebra or cheetah would be the style to wear? Looking around the streets and schools, it appears that this is definitely a style to be flaunting. It’s sharp, edgy, casual, and even a little sexy!
As style and fashion continue on, some patterns stick forever, while others begin to fade. The patterns of zebra and cheetah have been in style for awhile, and the fabric is only getting more and more popular! It seems everyday our local stores are releasing new T-shirts, dresses, skirts, and more, all having something to do with hot colors, zebras, or cheetahs!
Now, before you go wild with zebras or cheetahs, here are a few “Do’s” and “Do not’s” to keep in mind. These patterns are intense, and if worn the wrong way, even the animals will flinch at the sight of you!
One: DO NOT mix and match the patterns! One pattern at a time! For instance, zebra shirts with a cheetah skirt, or vise versa, (even if they are the exact same shade of color in background) don’t do this, ever.
Two: DO NOT wear any clothing with a light colored zebra pattern in the background. This is okay, but not exactly the style. Remember that this style is meant to be fierce, and a light color doesn’t give that impression. Zebra with dark red, blue, pink is wonderful!
Three: DO NOT over do the style! For example, don’t have crazy hair, or long red nails, or even zebra or cheetah nails! Use one pattern at a time. These styles add an edge to your clothing and fashion, but remember ladies, that you are elegant and beautiful; you don’t literally want to appear as one of these animals.
Four: DO NOT: When dressing casual, example a zebra T-shirt, don’t add to many colors. That means no colored shorts, skinny jean, etc. It is better to add a plain color. Maybe even a color that will work with anything, such as black.
Five: DO NOT: If you have a zebra shirt that literally resembles a zebra (white and black), still don’t wear colored bottoms, just wear black, everything else will make the style look overdone.
Six: DO: If wearing a zebra or cheetah T-shirt with black skinny jeans or shorts, add some red! For example, a red pair of flats with a matching red necklace. Any color will work, but add a dark color of shoes and necklace to match top to bottom.
Seven: DO spice up the pattern with red lipstick, Smokey black eyes, or shinny eye shadow! (Silver or copper is great!)
Eight: DO crimp pieces of hair! Adding some texture can look amazing and give depth!
Nine: DO add a pair of the new spiky stilettos! These are very much in style and aid to the theme of fierce, edgy, sharp, and sexy!
Ten: DO: when wearing cheetah it is okay to have a light color in the background, this is actually preferred. For example, a high waist cheetah skirt with a black blouse or plain T is sharp, yet edgy! Add a pair of spiky stilettos, even some bangs, and hit the road!
There you have it! Now go out, get some of these fantastic patterns, and get your style on! Remember, fierce colors and animals patterns equals a sexy, sharp, and irresistible you!
