coconuts are essential ingredient in Latin cuisine

Cleveland is fortunate to be the home of Latin themed, Paladar, in Eton Square. The food, at any time of day, is authentic yet creative. Ingredients are fresh and full of the spicy, sweet, citrus flavors that are associated with Latin cuisine. But definitely the best time of day at Paladar is the 3 -7 p.m. happy hour, Monday through Saturday.

All hand mulled mojito's or margarita's are only $5. While the beat of  the music moves you to order another it is difficult to pass up the array of tapas offered for under $5. For about the cost of an entree you can order 3 or 4 that will definitely make a meal.

Crab and mango fritters are $4 and are every bit as tasty as they sound. How about the plantain coated fired Manzanilla olives with lavender goat cheese for $4? Mini Cuban slow roasted pork sandwiches are another $4 bargain.Round it all off with black bean empanadas for $2. This is just a sampling of the bar menu appetizers that you can mix and match to suit your mood, which will probably be upbeat after a mojito or two.

Happy hour is a great way to get the "feel" of Paladar without any commitment! The atmosphere is city sleek and chic with a mesmerizing wave wall of art that, with the change of lighting, seems to beckon one to sand swept beaches and breezes we will never experience in Cleveland, no matter how warm the weather.
