A Fall favorite, co-ed Flag Football(source)

The Autumnal Equinox occurs at 4:18pm local time tonight which means it's officially the Fall season! The weather is much more pleasant outside, so what better reason then to use this time to get into better shape.

This season is very popular for sports leagues. If you like to play a little, be social and get some exercise without even thinking about it, then you should join a team. Check out the types of teams that are available this season:

Flag Football: Don't be intimidated by this sport, there are all types of levels offered. So if you're a first timer or a seasoned professional then there is a team for you to join.  The locations offered are in Griggs Park, Norbuck Park, Fair Oaks Park and Glence Park. First game begins this Saturday the 26th so hurry and register today.

Kickball: This is for the more 'relaxed' team sport. It's a great social game and the pace is more similar to baseball. Locations offered are at Griggs Park, Glencoe Park and Tietz Park. First game is tomorrow the 23rd with only a few spots left!

Soccer: A great cardio style game that keeps you moving and keeps your heart rate up. Only one location is available at Randall Park and the first game is October 6th.

Softball: If you loved to play baseball or softball as a kid then this will be a great fit. The first game begins on September 30th and the parks available are Glencoe Park, Fair Oaks Park and Norbuck Park.

Indoor Volleyball: Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork. Hit the ball no more then 3 times by your team to get it over the net and you'll all be smiling. The Sportsplex at Valleyview is offering this sports league beginning the 1st of October.
