Celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have tried a new diet in order to stay slim. These two stars seem to never gain a pound but somehow have found themselves on the new Baby Food Diet.
It's exactly how it sounds, eating baby food. Yes, there are some pros to this new fad. It is full of fruits and veggies, has no added preservatives and is easy to control your portions. Yet, some cons of the diet are not eating enough calories that could result in a late night binge and missing out on something called taste. It may become very old very quickly after eating mushy peas five days in a row.
With such a low amount of calories consumed means that there probably isn't much energy left over for exercise. To be slim and weak is one thing compared to lean and strong that will make life much more enjoyable.
So take this new diet as a good reminder of portion control. Take a minute to breath before you begin to eat. Think about how much you plan on eating and if it's less then what's on your plate, go ahead and separate the food that will be saved for later. Place a napkin over the saved food or simply take it off you plate.
If you want to try the baby food diet, I would suggest replacing only your snacks and not meals.
