Randy Jackson's new book (source)

Randy Jackson is someone that thought he could get away with a 350lb body weight on a 5'11" frame. That was his mentality until he found himself in the emergency room with Type 2 Diabetes.

The Grammy Award winner and American Idol judge is a true southerner at heart. He always loved his deep fried foods and high sugary snacks. Along with his successful music career came a dark side of increasing weight.

Once he got the news of having type 2 diabetes, it was the wake up call he needed. He opted for gastric bypass surgery in 2003 and began searching for a life long plan of diet and exercise. His new book titled Body With Soul, is a testament to his long and hard journey of weight loss. He shares his struggles with fad diets and solutions that he has found along the way. The book also offers healthy southern food recipes, exercise routines, and a down to earth daily routine that can easily be followed.

So whether you are a celebrity or celebrity follower, Randy is someone that has been in your shows and can show you the possibilities ahead of a healthier and more satisfying life.

Find Body With Soul by Randy Jackson online at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and Borders.
