Pet's Eye View Digital Camera

Another workweek looms ahead.

As you rush out the door with briefcase/lunch/purse/manbag/keys in hand, you steal a glance behind you. Spot is staring at you with doleful eyes.

But is he truly sad? Or is he simply waiting for you to leave so he can start his day of mischief and mayhem?

Now you can know exactly what Spot is up to while you toil away at work. Clip the Pet’s Eye View Digital Camera (from Think Geek, $49.99) to your beloved’s collar, and set the timer to take a picture every 1, 5, or 15 minutes.

Here are the specs, according to ThinkGeek:

  • PC and Mac compatible - true plug-and-play
  • 8mb SDRAM internal memory (not expandable)
  • Resolution: 640 x 480
  • Image capacity: 40 (jpeg)
  • Battery: lithium-ion, rechargeable (through usb cord)
  • Battery charge time: 1-2 hours
  • Collar must be minimum of 3/8" wide
  • Includes: Camera, USB cord (approx 19" long), and instructions
  • Weighs: approx 4.5oz
  • Dimensions: 2.25" x 2" x 0.75"
When you return home, a photo diary of your dog’s day awaits. Did Spot loot the trash? Tear up your slippers? Take a stroll around the park with the leggy Dalmatian from next door? Attempt to sink a tooth into the mailman’s leg?

Or did he just celebrate the dog days of summer and…sleep?
