Emily digital clock

I know what you’re thinking. How could a digital clock be that unusual?

It all depends upon your perspective. Literally.
The Emily Digital Clock mounts vertically to the wall and therefore reads sideways, to make it “easily viewable while on your side in bed.”

Here are the specs according to the seller:

  • Sleek brushed aluminum casing
  • 5/8” walnut wood construction w/rounded corners
  • Red LED clock w/alarm functions
  • Ships complete with wall transformer
  • Made of walnut and aluminum
  • LED Dimensions: 4” x 2.5” x 2.5”

At $129, I can’t justify buying it for myself, because I could just, well, lift my head up and look at the old school clock resting horizontally on my nightstand. And since I consult my clock several times a day and not just when I’m horizontal, with Emily, I’ll have to turn my head at some point during the day. With that said, this device might be extremely helpful for folks who are bed-ridden for the better part of a day.

In any case, this clock provides a fresh perspective and undoubtedly a conversation piece.
