Called a "Queerlicious dance party for Everyone", Sugar, held on the third Friday of every month at Bender's Tavern (13th and Grant) is defintiely more aimed at the Sapphicly inclined. Though in the new age of straight folks getting into The 'L' Word it's totally possible that Everyone could have a great time at Sugar.

If nothing else the entertainment will be an adventure in subcultures for anyone wandering in unaware...

Tonight, appearing on the Sugar stage are:

Alt-Folk act Bitch and the Exciting Conclusion- It was clever when the neo-feminist magazine named itself after the common feminine insult, so why can't a hot, green dreadlocked feminist folk singer do the same?

The hot new local Drag King troupe Rocky Mountain Oysters Drag- Get hip, folks- drag's not just for the guys! Carrying on, and pushing the envelope of the traditional Butch, these 'fellas' take gender-illusion to a whole 'nother level.

Plus tunes spun all night by resident DJs T Luv and Daren Hahn

April, 18 2008 at Sugar, 9pm-2am, 21 + Cost : $5
