Junie B. Jones musical comes to Town Hall Theatre.

The regional premiere of the musical ‘Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business’ starts October 23, 2009 at Washington Township’s Town Hall Theatre. The show runs weekends through November 8, 2009. Fridays are at 7:00 p.m. while Saturday and Sunday shows are at 3:00 p.m.

With the original children’s book written by Barbara Park and the script by Joan Cushing, the story is about children learning to share the spotlight. Junie B. is upset that a new baby brother is coming to live with them. But as her friends begin to give her all of their possessions so that they can visit him, Junie B. begins to take a little too much advantage of the situation. Children and adults alike will have fun with the great songs and escapades on stage at Washington Township’s Town Hall Theatre.

Washington Township’s production is provided by Landmark Children’s Theatre Company. Following the main production, the show will move to Dayton Children’s Medical Centre for an in-school tour, underwritten by CompuNet Clinical Laboratories.

The Town Hall Theatre is located at 27 North Main Street in the heart of Centerville, right next to Panera Bread. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for students and seniors, $10 for children 12 and under. All day of show tickets are $15. The show lasts approximately one hour and is recommended for children ages 4 and up. You can reserve tickets online at www.townhalltheatre.org or call 937-433-8957.
